18 museums in the United States and abroad have accepted Bernard Perry’s work into their permanent collections. These include: The Detroit Institute of the Arts, The New Orleans Museum of Art, The Georgia Museum of Art, The Virginia Museum of Fine Art, The Orlando Museum of Art, The Columbus Museum of Art, The Ogunquit Museum of Art, The Tampa Museum of Art, The Colorado Springs Museum of Fine Arts Center, The Fort Wayne Museum of Art, The Florida Museum of Natural History, The Flint Institute of the Arts, The Ringling Museum of Art, The Ann Norton Sculpture Garden Museum,The University of New Hampshire Museum of Art, The Vieques Museum of Contemporary Art of Puerto Rico, the Galleries at San Diego University and The Mazovian Museum of Plock, Poland.

 

Museum Exhibitions include: The Florida Museum of Natural History, The Boca Raton Museum of Art, and The Fairfield Museum of Art.

 

His solo exhibitions include a 108 image retrospective at the Civic Space Gallery in Philadelphia; The Hospice Gallery, Branford, CT, Max’s Gallery, Westport, CT, and The Connecticut Community Bank, Greenwich, CT.

 

Juried exhibition awards include: First Prize in the 2014 and 2016 Benheim Gallery Competition, Greenwich, CT; Best in Show Weston Library Show; First Place Westport Senior Center Shows, 2014, 2013, 2012 (portrait, nature and landscape categories).

 

Five books based upon his photographs have been published: “Africa, the Adventure of a Lifetime,” Iceland – Land of Fire and Ice”, “The Many Faces of China,” “Israel and  Jordan-The People and Their Faith” and "Iran - Lifting the Veil". Click here for more information.


His Photography Education: International Center for Photography, New York, The Silvermine School of Art, New Canaan, CT and workshops around the world, including India, China, Cuba, Myanmar, Hawaii and Iran.

 

Permanent commercial installations include: The Westport National Bank, Westport, CT and The Cruises and Travel Agency, Fairfield, CT.
